Is it a struggle staying on top of all your projects, does it take long to get to the heart of the problem and find the right solution?

Do your project managers spend too much their time ferrying information between different parts of your project team?

Do you struggle to have an integrated approach to delivering your project and also demonstrating compliance with your Quality System?

All of these issues, and more,  are addressed by the AspiraCon toolset.

Collaborator

Project Collaborator provides a tool for creating drillable, web-based process maps that automatically build project schedules.  Offering a simple map-drawing user interface, in the background the tool is generating a database representation of your process, which gives the flexibility to analyse and re-use different process components.

Because no two projects are ever the same, the tool allows project managers to easily pick & mix from the overall process, to define precisely what process they will use for their project.  Process compliance is built into the tool, as the system understands the organization’s “chain of command” and gets the right approvals for any attempts to deviate too far from what has been identified as best practise.  Having defined the process to be used, the tool then automatically creates the project schedule, complete with dependencies and activity definitions.

Project Collaborator reduces project schedule creation time by up to 90%, allowing the Project Manager to concentrate on optimising the schedule rather than building it from scratch.  Because it has been created directly by the tool, the schedule is traceable back to the organization process and so compliance is easily demonstrated.

Project Collaborator also proactively manages the completion of project deliverables at each stage through the project.

To be successful, a project manager has to ensure that each deliverable is completed in line with the project plan.   To achieve this, the project manager ensures that each person on the team knows what they own, understands who is waiting on them to complete, and shares their own status.  Managing these control and collaboration activities typically takes up 50% of a project manager’s time and effort.   Project Collaborator reduces this time by automatically managing the day-to-day interactions, communicating latest status and escalating only the exceptions to be dealt with by the Project Manager.

When a number of projects are underway simultaneously, Project Collaborator provides a dashboard view that gives real-time visibility into the status of each project.  Using a simple set of  Red-Amber-Green rules that are configured by the user, the system gives an immediate view of project status and is drillable in real time, so that any elements of the project that represent a risk to success can be accessed and analysed through the Project Collaborator system.
