Project Management Training (Class Based)
Course Duration: 2 Days
Designed to establish a detailed understanding of project management terms, concepts and methodologies.
Describes the purpose, inputs and outputs of the core processes in each of the five process groups: Initiating, Planning, Execution, Control and Closing.
The ten knowledge areas are introduced and explored: Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communications, Risk, Procurement and Professional and Social Responsibility.
A knowledge of project management tools and techniques is taught, together with how and when to use them. Examples of such tools and techniques include Budget, Risk Analysis, Scheduling, Gantt Chart, Contingency and Change Control.
An understanding of how to apply this learning to the participants own particular project/environment is a key benefit.
Relevant case studies and working exercises are assigned to trainees who apply the training to solve realistic problems and real-life project scenarios.
